La Piel de Luna explora las conexiones entre subconsciente y lenguaje en el ámbito creativo. Al trasladar técnicas literarias como el flujo de conciencia a la práctica escultórica, el proceso creativo se materializa en formas suspendidas que desafían la gravedad.

Las palabras adquieren aquí una morfología orgánica: invisibles en su esencia pero omnipresentes en su manifestación. Las piezas, equilibradas en su diálogo entre sustancia y apariencia, funcionan como dispositivos sensoriales que invitan a desentrañar estratos simbólicos, activan la imaginación colectiva y promueven conexiones íntimas con cada espectador.

La denominación "Piel Lunar" evoca ese crepúsculo mágico donde noche y alba se funden, umbral fértil para la gestación onírica. Como apuntaba Tanizaki en Elogio de la sombra, la oscuridad no es ausencia sino matriz luminosa. Esta estética oriental que valora los matices de penumbra -visible en la elección de lacas envejecidas y materiales densos que atesoran pátinas oscuras- encuentra su correlato en objetos que parecen germinar espontáneamente de la oscuridad. Su superficie lunar, cual epidermis sensible, se transfigura bajo cada mirada, revelando esa luz íntima que sólo la sombra sabe custodiar.

The Moonskin project presents its recent research on the subconscious and the role of words in the artistic context. By applying literary techniques such as the stream of consciousness to its artistic practice, it transforms into floating sculptural forms.

In this context, the words grow organically into invisible forms, described but omnipresent. With a delicate balance between form and content, the pieces serve as a means of expression, inviting the audience to discover intricate layers, stimulating the imagination, and fostering personal connections within each work.

The inspiration for the name "Moonskin" comes from the imagination of the night, specifically the special moment that connects twilight and dawn, a moment considered the cradle of dreams. As Tanizaki notes in "In Praise of Shadows," without darkness, light could not exist. Oriental aesthetics appreciate the levels of shadow and the imaginative space that darkness provides. For example, in the selection of materials such as lacquer, there is a preference for using heavy materials and preserving the dark patina that accumulates during the process of use, so that only in a dark environment can it emit an atmosphere of serene and warm light. "Moonskin" precisely simulates these kinds of objects, which organically sprout from the darkness like forms of life. The luminous skin of the moon on these objects changes shape with each arrival of a gaze.
