Chapter 1. Drapery

La pieza de libro-cama es una interpretación de sentido sereno y tranquilo sucedido en la compañía del libro. La lectura puede construir un espacio metafísico en lo que no responde al tiempo y la escena de la realidad actual. En un comportamiento como leer antes de acostarse, la influencia de las palabras continuarán extendiéndose en la oscuridad, tejiendo en una red ligera, cubierta sobre el cuerpo y la consciencia. Así que esta pieza se deriva hacia un intento de materializar una percepción individual del libro a una práctica escultórica que permite la participación de los espectadores.

Chapter 2. Weight

Dos moldes de escayola que brinda una vida nueva al libro que se abandona por la calle, se envolvieron en una manta de plástico; se destacaron así los libros como una forma de continuidad cultural, y el desequilibrio entre su peso significante y su peso físico.

Chapter 3. Resonance

El libro abandonado fue desmontado y enmarcado sobre el bastidor, página por página, en los que se proyecta su versión cinematográfica. Esto produce una sinfonía de dos medios, la literatura y la cinematografía. La pieza llega a visualizar la reflexión sobre la tarea de traductor de Walter Benjamin sobre la técnica nueva de interpretación y la crisis del campo de la lectura.

Chapter 1. Drapery

The book-bed piece is an interpretation of a serene and calm sense that happened in the company of the book. Reading can build a metaphysical space in what does not respond to the time and scene of current reality. In a behavior like reading before bed, the influence of the words will continue to spread in the dark, weaving in a light, draped web over the body and consciousness. So this piece drifts towards an attempt to materialize an individual perception of the book into a sculptural practice that allows viewers to participate.

Chapter 2. Weight

Two plaster molds that give a new life to the book that is abandoned on the street, were wrapped in a plastic blanket; Books were thus highlighted as a form of cultural continuity, and the imbalance between their significant weight and their physical weight.

Chapter 3. Resonance

The abandoned book was disassembled and framed on the frame, page by page, on which its film version is projected. This produces a symphony of two media, literature and film. The piece manages to visualize Walter Benjamin's reflection on the task of translator, on the new technique of interpretation and the crisis in the field of reading.
