I embark on this artistic journey from the vantage point of a reader, endeavoring to depict a sequence of Amos Oz's (1939, Jerusalem) countenances, which span his childhood, youth, and maturity. These portraits are interwoven with photographs of various objects, symbolizing how his literary works extend and intertwine with his life, uniting readers across the globe. As etymology suggests, his words are like "the lovely words in languages, seemingly unrelated but closely connected." The influence of his words lingers on in conversations, peripheral glimpses, and everyday objects that resonate with his literary legacy. The installation is conceived as an aesthetic representation of a domestic corner, designed to evoke the book-filled room of the author's childhood. Employing digital painting, photography, and environmental art installation, this project amalgamates diverse dialogues and sometimes contradictory techniques, ultimately converging into a harmonious composition, much like the emotional resonance that his books evoke. At the culmination of this experience, the viewer's own visage is reflected in the mirror, bringing the composition full circle and narrowing the gap between readers like ourselves and the author, Amos Oz, making the distance feel much less profound.
